Dispute Resolution & Expert Witness
Expert Witness work is required in instances where a dispute has arisen and legal action is contemplated or when legal action is trying to be avoided. Philip Raw has extensive experience in the provision of report to the Civic Procedures Rules standard (CPR35) set out by the courts for twenty years. Expert Witness Reports and provision of oral evidence in court both as an independent joint expert and acting for either party over 20 years have been provided.
Experts are being instructed earlier in the process when a dispute has arisen to define the issues and quantify the merits of potential further action. This can be useful to mediate a dispute informally or formally. Alternatively if litigation is being considered, which can be expensive, the experts report is usually essential.
